Weekly progress pt3

 

Week 11
Lecture/ Practical/ Tutorial: 15/06/2023

On the 11th week, I worked on my look two where a lot of alterations needed to be made, I decided to place a cup on the bust of the dummy to trace out my pattern drape for the look two. 

Before I started cutting my actual fabric, I made a toile first to see and review the fit of my second look by using calico fabric. 

The above picture is the cutting out of my second look once I was satisfied with how my toile came out. 

Week 12

    The above picture is the cutting out of the lining for the look two. 

The pictures shown above is the process of making up of the garment and attaching of the lining.

While I was working on my look 2 for week 11, I was also doing all the detail works for my look 1, I had to decide on the placement of my textures on my look 1. 

Week 13
Lecture/ Practical/ Tutorial: 29/06/2023

By week 12 I already started working on my third look. Since time was already running out, i decided to use the draped dress from a task that was already given to us at the beginning of the semester. I decided to alter the back and make the dress shorter.

Week 14
Lecture/ Practical/ Tutorial: 06/07/20239(FINAL+SHOW)

For the final week, I was working on all the finishing of my garments and we were all preparing for the upcoming fashion show. 

On this picture I was working on my final placement of my manipulations. 

the below pictures shows all the finished look of my other 2 garments. 

THE SHOW:

I was able to manage a neat finish for my first look and many people liked the dress that went on the runway, i was very satisfied.
